This policy covers Mr Cut Barbershop, 2441 Jamacha Rd, Suite 101, El Cajon, CA 92019 — phone (619) 440-3444. It explains what we collect when you book with us, what we do with it, and how to get it changed or deleted.

What we collect

Only what a booking needs: your name, mobile number, an email address if you give one, the service and barber you chose, the time of your appointment, and any note you add for your barber. If you pay a deposit online, the card itself is handled by our payment processor — we never see or store your card number.

What we do with it

Confirm your appointment and remind you before it. Let the barber you booked with see who is in their chair and when. Reach you if something changes — if your barber is running behind, or has to move your time. Keep a record of your visits so your barber knows your history. Nothing else.

Who can see it

The shop owner, and the barber you booked with — nobody else. The booking system enforces it: each barber can see only the clients who have booked with them. One barber cannot open, export, or message another barber’s clients, and no barber can see the shop’s full client list. This is a technical restriction, not a house rule.

Text messages

There are two separate kinds, and they are two separate choices.

Appointment texts — confirmations, reminders, and a message if your appointment has to move. You opt in to these when you book by ticking the reminders box. Expect roughly 1–3 messages per appointment.

Offers and news — occasional messages from the shop or from your own barber about openings, new services, or promotions. This is a separate, unticked box when you book. You will never receive one of these because you agreed to reminders. Expect no more than about 4 messages per month.

Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

We do not sell or share your mobile number or your text-message consent with anyone for their own marketing. Your number goes to our messaging provider only so that the message you asked for can be delivered to you.

Email

Booking confirmations go to the address you give us. Promotional email is sent only to clients who have opted in, and every one of those carries a one-click unsubscribe link that takes effect immediately.

Who we use to run this

Our booking system is Arcbay, built and operated by Arcsmiths, which stores appointment and client records on our behalf. Text messages are delivered by Twilio, email by Resend, online deposits by Stripe, and this website is served by Cloudflare. Each of them receives only what it needs to do its job, and none of them may use your details for their own purposes.

How long we keep it

Your appointment history stays while you are a client of the shop, because it is what lets your barber pick up where you left off. Ask us to delete it and we will.

Your choices

Call the shop on (619) 440-3444 and ask us to show you, correct, or delete what we hold about you, or to take you off reminders, offers, or both. We will action it and confirm. If you are a California resident, you may also ask us whether we have sold or shared your personal information — we have not, and we do not.

Cookies

This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies, and there is no third-party analytics or advertising script on it. Your browser stores nothing about you here beyond what is needed to keep the booking form working while you fill it in.

Children

We cut children's hair, but the booking is made by a parent or guardian — we do not knowingly collect details directly from anyone under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page.
